Club Reopening
25/03/2021

Dear Member,

It’s been a long time coming but my team and I are thrilled to announce that we will be able to reopen the Club on Monday 12th April 2021.

Safety

We will be continuing to adhere to all government guidelines and a summary of our stringent measures include:

– Reduced member capacity across the Club, to provide a minimum of 2 metre social distancing at all times.

– Temperature checks using Thermal imaging camera technology at the entrance of the Club.

– Gym equipment spaced 2 metres apart.

– Enhanced and more frequent cleaning schedules to maintain high levels

of hygiene.

Membership

We will restart your membership on Monday 12th April, which means that you will only pay for the remaining 19 days of the month.  Your direct debit will reflect this which will automatically be pro rated and will be collected on your regular billing date.  From 1st May you will revert to your standard fees.

For annual paying members, you will or will have had a separate email by now.

Outdoor Classes

With the lifting of some lockdown restrictions we are pleased to be able to offer a number of outdoor classes from Monday 29th March in addition to the existing Zoom and MyZone classes which will continue until indoor classes resume from 17th May.  Being outdoor classes, and the need to observe COVID guidelines, the classes are all circuit based where you will use bodyweight, skipping ropes and kettlebells.  Members will need to book into the outdoor classes via the Member Login via our website or the Fitsense App, bookable 3 days in advance.  Where there are adverse weather conditions, classes will be cancelled and members will be informed an hour before the class.

In your Fitsense App the classes can by found under Book / Class / and under activity choose Outdoor Circuits.

These will open on the booking system from Friday 26th March.

Members should please be mindful of your fellow members and only book these if you can attend. No shows will be blocked from all classes for the following week.

Outdoor Circuits are a combination of body weight exercises with high intensity movements which will also use kettlebells.

R&D Physio

Now that gyms are soon opening up, the gains and graft for your summer bod is going to be big! May seem simple enough, but people are still making the same mistake of overloading their body, muscles, and tendons are leading to even more time away from the gym due to injury. Finding that balance between exercise and recovery is crucial.

One thing that separates our clinic from others is the access to our very own Shockwave Therapy machine. It the perfect adjunct to the right exercise programme for those tendon and muscle-related injuries that wont go away. The science behind is it simple. Each pulse is a soundwave which travels directly to the sensitive area. It then breaks down any scar tissue, creating an inflammatory response, which the restarts the healing process.

Musa Martial Arts

Most people at some point in their lives have thought about doing martial arts. We’ve seen Bruce Lee or some other stars in action films, or been in a scary real-life situation, and wish that we could do what martial arts experts can do. Well the good news is you can do anything that any action star can do, all you need to do is start learning!

Come and try out a FREE trial class in our bespoke Martial Arts studio.

As per government guidelines we will be teaching live in person classes for children and teens (under 18s) from 12th April and Adults (over 18s) from 17thMay 2021. Feel free to contact us directly if you have any further questions and want to start your Martial Arts journey.
